The Emag, Also known as The Electromagnetic Card, Image shown here In a wider sense will: "Hack" Objects, turning some robots rogue, unlock safety features, unlock doors or lockers as long as they arent welded shut, or just niche interactions, This page will cover as much as possible.

Doors The effects of the emag on the door will change depending on if the door is bolted and or welded shut, If it's bolted shut, it will stay bolted once emagged and have lowered HP, the only way to open this door is to break it down or RCD it. If it is not bolted or welded, It'll simply open and stay open till replaced. If the door does not have power, it will stay closed until replaced. If emagged while welded shut, it'll make a loud whirring and grinding noise, as well as dealing damage to the door.
APCs When Emagged, permanently unlocks the APC's interface. May take a couple of attempts.
Lockers When Emagged, It will force the locks on the locker to turn off, allowing anyone to open the locker.
Crates When Emagged, It will force the locks on the crate to turn off, allowing anyone to open the crate, most notably the armory crates or cargo ordered security gear.
Vending Machines When Emagged, It will short out the product locks on the vending machine, allowing anyone to dispense any item regardless of the access requirement, Does not make items free however.
Space Heater When Emagged, changes the minimum heat from 183.15K to 153.15K, and maximum heat from 363.15K to 673.15K. Must be unscrewed to Emag.
Cyborgs When Emagged, It will disconnect the cyborgs from the law rack, giving them no laws, they will be free to grief, kill the person that emagged them, or just relax. This does not work on the AI shells or core.
GuardBuddies Unlocks their weapon module to accept lethal firearms. Doing it a second time makes them do a cute smirk at you.
Securitrons/Beepsky Makes them attack anyone, sparking wildly.
Medibots When Emagged, medibots inject pancuronium instead of their usual healing chems.
Clean Bots When Emagged, It will fill the clean bot with Lube and Phlogiston Dust, Much like the random spawn/player controlled variant.
Fire Bots When Emagged, It will target people and spray foam at them, fire foam which can be set on fire, or spray foam that can knock them back, dropping any items they were holding, Much like the random spawn/player controlled variant.
Floorbots When Emagged, rips up floor plating and foundations, leaving a hole in the station. Great for rapid depressurization.
MuleBot When Emagged, toggles the control lock.
Amusing Duck When Emagged, It will begin to constantly make it's "Amusing" noise and follow people, People will often create dozens of these then emag them to create loud noises.
Tanning Bed When Emagged, converts the bed into an incinerator that also blinds you.
Coffeemakers When Emagged, they will brew something else...tea.
Security Scanners When Emagged, instead of checking for contraband, they will instead perform a "vibe check". That is, they'll randomly alarm or not alarm when someone passes through, and will show some flavor text when passing/failing the "vibe check". When it alarms, the PDA alerts sent to Security will state that [name] "FAILED A VIBE CHECK AT" [location].
Ovens When Emagged, instead of cooking food based on the recipe (or lack of a valid recipe), they will output random food. Said food has dubious nutritional value.
Microwaves When Emagged, switches the microwave to "IONIZING" mode, which makes any food heated in it irradiate you once ingested.
EMAG Card When Emagged by a different EMAG, will now act as a lightly damaging boomerang when thrown.
Flash When Emagged, bores a hole in the back, causing flashes to affect the user as well.

Extreme-Pressure Pressurization Device When Emagged, allows the device to create CO2 and plasma gas, provided the appropriate materials (i.e. plasmastone or char) have been loaded.
Compact Sleepers When Emagged, injects poisons into the patient (specifically sulfonal, toxin, and mercury) in addition to saline-glucose.
Cloning Pod When Emagged, immediately ejects the current occupant.
Cloning Console When Emagged, allows anyone to delete cloning records, regardless of access.
Enzymatic Reclaimer When Emagged, overrides the safety mechanism, allowing living players to be forced into the reclaimer. It will also destroy all items on a body, instead of automatically dropping them on the floor.
Portable Recharge Bay When Emagged, allows it to recharge weapons.
Photocopier When Emagged, it disables copyright protection, allowing you to scan up to 10 credits, or a book, and print it for one piece of paper. Accepts thermal paper as a printing material
Phone When Emagged, will constantly ring with text saying there's a call from a random department, answering the phone will cause a small explosion that almost always pokes a hole in the floor.
Flashlight When Emagged, will burst the next time it is turned on, lighting the user on fire for a couple seconds.
