Pushing The Button

So you want to get the medal, eh? Can't say I blame you; everyone wants a couple more points added to their Gamer Score™.

But its going to be pretty tricky!

Items You MUST Gather

Before heading off to CentComm, gather up some items.

Mandatory items are:

Wrench
Screwdriver
Russian revolver
Power pickaxe
Holy Water container from the chapel
Gnome Chompsky

Gnome Chompsky can be found in the lost and found trash can near Customs (HoP's office). It is recommended you gather him at round start, as he can teleport when left alone. Once gathered, under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you let him leave your sight. Keep him in hand as much as possible.

Next priority should be the russian revolver, as it often gets handed out quickly at the start of rounds.

Items it is RECOMMENDED You Gather

While the following items can be obtained at CentComm, it is HIGHLY recommended you also gather the following at the station:

Welder
Crowbar
Wirecutters
Igniter

Getting to The Button™

My favorite two video game features; waiting and RNG! The only way to get to CentComm with enough time to push the button is via a merchant shuttle, which has a chance of just not showing up on any given shift. And if it does show up, it could happen at the 70 minute mark!

The things we do for Gamer Score™...

Once a shuttle has arrived(indicated by a station announcement), print a cargo pad (or convince an engineer to do so), and construct it in the shuttle. Grab all your stuff, wait for the shuttle to leave, hop in a locker, then have a coworker use a cargo transporter on said locker to send you off to the pad.

Voila! You're home early!

Gathering the Rest of the Items

While all of these items can also be gathered on the station, they are relatively easy, or sometimes easier to get at CentComm, so it's your choice where to acquire them. Said items are:

Kitchen knife (found in CentComm kitchen)
Shovel (found in the northern graveyard)
Sponge (found in the pool showers)
Rubber Stamp (found on the reception desk)
Stapler (found in the southern medical room)
Enucleation Spoon (southern medical room)
Filled Paint Can (Found in dev office, Gannets[left column, near bottom]
Stun Baton (Found in dev offices, Kyle[middle row, second on the left], Flaborized[right column, second to last on the right], Adhara[Left column, near top]
